SAP Product Owner in Sittard

As a SAP Product Owner within the Finance PMO at Boels Rental, you will be actively managing, building, and optimizing SAP, which is the core in our financial system landscape. You are the key link between Finance, Procurement and IT, and further scaling the quality of our core financial processes, by maximizing the value of SAP, and being the liaison between the SAP development team, the SAP maintenance team, and the finance/procurement organizations.

We are searching for someone with a strong personality and extensive experience in financial systems and processes, and agile working in an international organization. With your personality, drive, knowledge and experience, you are able to get things done. It will be your responsibility to maximize the SAP product value, and make sure that resources are used effectively to deliver promised value to the customer and business. You will develop the roadmap for automation and further enhancements, and implement this roadmap in an agile way. You will define and prioritize the SAP improvement initiative backlog, and ensuring that the development and maintenance teams clearly understand the vision and goals of the product from the business. You will define and collect requirements, set priorities on customer value, align scope, resources and budget. Because of your extensive knowledge and experience in SAP and financial systems, you are the go-to person for your international colleagues.

What you bring

• Have a working and thinking ability at Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in e.g. business administration, computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field
• Have at least 5 years’ experience in a role as product owner, project manager, business analyst or team lead / manager in an operational role Have experience in working with SAP and/or managing IT-related projects/processes
• Have experience in a complex, or multinational environment
• Have knowledge/experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies
• Have a good command of the English language; both spoken and written
